Snowshoeing on a beautiful Sunday
Sunday, February 24th, we went snowshoeing on Seymour Mt. which is in North Vancouver (about 40mins north of downtown Vancouver). We met one of Tom's coworkers, Pred, at the base. After strapping on our snowshoes, we began our 7 km trek up the mountain. It was a beautiful sunny day. It was a great workout and we got some beautiful views of English Bay, downtown Vancouver and even Vancouver Island it was so clear! We had a nice chili lunch and a rest at the top. Now the best part of snowshoeing is going down - you get down on your bum and slide down! I had super snow pants on and I would get some serious speed - It was soooo much fun!!!!
