August Long Weekend - Needle Peak
With the rock slide on the Sea-to-Sky Highway our plans of going North for a hike were over. It turned out that it was a great thing because we discovered a whole new area of scrambling! We went to Needle Peak which is located along the Coquihala Hwy about 2hrs East of Vancouver. The scramble was amazing and I accomplished my first chimney! I was really nervous and scared but exciting. It was a great day hike and we made it to the summit just in time for lunch.
