Boating & Fishing attempt #1

Tom and I went up to Horseshoe Bay with our friend, Chris, and rented a boat complete with salmon fishing equipment. Our goal: a day on the ocean and to catch a salmon for our planned bbq that night. What actually happened: a super day on the ocean and no salmon... We had an incident with our downrigger (part of the fishing equipment). Once Chris and Tom were done attaching the weight to the end of the line, they let the weight drop in the ocean however the line wasn't attached to the downrigger like it was suppose to be. We were down to 1 downrigger and a regular fishing rod (not for salmon). Needless to say that just didn't cut it. Oh well it was still a great adventure!
